VIRTU at POPAI RUSSIA AWARDS 2015.
On April, 16 during the awarding ceremony there was summed up this year contest of POPAI RUSSIA. VIRTU result can be considered as very successful.
Despite the current economic situation the competition was not only representative but also with a lot of bright entries. 148 projects of 28 companies in 16 nominations participated at POPAI RUSSIA AWARDS.
The jury consisted of 39 people including specialists from the world's largest and Russian brands as well as representatives of the POPAI Global.
As a result our company has received the following awards:
- Eight gold, three silver and five bronze prizes in various categories;
- Two wins in Concept nomination (version of Moet Hennessy that has provided briefs for Concept this year);
- Special prize from 3M for high quality of gluing transparent materials;
- The main prize, - GRAND PRIX, - the sixth one for VIRTU in eleven years of the contest.
We had already received eight gold Indians two years ago but the sum of all prizes can be considered as the most successful for our company.
Gold prizes.
The stocker-trolley Thierry Mugler won in Cosmetics/Permanent and display Barrel Johnnie Walker Double Black recognized as the best in Alcohol/Permanent.
The stand BOOMco is awarded by gold Indian in Products and accessories for everyday life, entertainment/Permanent and shelfdisplay Barrier is the best among mini-displays in the same nomination.
The jury chose the best projects on-line in SHOP-IN-SHOP nomination first time this year on the basis of a detailed presentations and videos. The number of entries in the nomination was a record and they were divided into four categories.
VIRTU projects received all prizes in Cosmetics and Lancome corner is recognized as the best.
Monster High brand-zone won the first place in Toys category.
Silver prizes.
L'Oreal display took the second place in Cosmetics/mini-display.
Salon Clarins Skin Spa - silver Indian in SHOP-IN-SHOP/Cosmetics.
Dyson brand-zone - second place in SHOP-IN-SHOP/home appliances.
Bronze prizes.
Miller Miami rotating display took the third place in Beverages/mini-display. Dom Perignon stand has the same result in Alcohol/Permanent.
Giorgio Armani corner closed up the top three winners among cosmetics SHOP-IN-SHOP.
Barbie brand-zone - third place in SHOP-IN-SHOP/Toys.
Concept nomination.
In the special nomination of the competition the entries were exhibited that produced by uniform briefs of Moet Hennessy that had offered just two briefs: "Moёt Chandon glorifier for on-trade channel" and "Moёt Chandon installation for retail chains".
The record number of entries was exhibited: 16 displays for the first brief and 5 – for the second one.
Traditionally for Concept nomination all entries were rated by the jury version and by Moёt Hennessy version.
VIRTU put in Concept six displays on the first brief and one work - on the second one.
As a result two of our entries took first place (absolutely equal score): "Pearl" and "Piano" glorifiers.
According to the Moet Hennessy rate VIRTU entries took first places in both briefs: "1743" glorifier and "Star" installation (this installation took third place by the jury version).
The special prize from 3M.
The special prize from company 3M for the high level of producing Glenmorangie stand (excellent quality of gluing transparent materials) was a pleasant surprise.
GRAND PRIX.
The display Barrel Johnnie Walker Double Black won GRAND PRIX. It’s the sixth crystal globe of VIRTU for eleven years of the contest!
In addition to participating in POPAI RUSSIA AWARDS 2015 VIRTU installed a booth at the exhibition "Design and Advertising." A row of corrugated solutions for brands specially designed for FIFA World Cup 2018 were presented at the booth.
VIRTU was awarded by the diploma for the best use of innovative technologies in the design of the booth.
